Before establishing her private practice, Jaclyn held the position of Principal Physiotherapist and Head of the Cardiorespiratory team at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). In this role, she contributed to the development of services across surgical, respiratory, and cardiac care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her work helped to enhance patient care and rehabilitation programs at the hospital.

Jaclyn’s expertise in cardiorespiratory care is reflected in her leadership roles, including Physiotherapy Lead of the Critical Care Committee and Chairperson of the Ministry of Health’s Tracheostomy Workgroup. In these roles, she focused on ventilatory weaning, tracheostomy management, and other specialised areas of care.

She has also been involved in respiratory health as the Allied Health Lead for the NHG Respiratory Health Steering Committee, where she helped to develop outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation programs. Additionally, she chaired the Allied Health Track at the 27th Congress of the APSR in 2023. Jaclyn has contributed to the field by working with respiratory physicians to establish the Bronchiectasis Service and collaborating with pulmonologists to provide care for patients with interstitial lung disease, COPD, and asthma.

In addition to her work in respiratory care, Jaclyn has experience in cardiac rehabilitation, helping patients recover from heart attacks, coronary interventions, and cardiothoracic surgeries. As a certified ACSM Cancer Trainer, she also supports patients with oncological conditions, providing both education and tailored care.

Jaclyn’s enthusiasm for a field extends even to education. She is an associate faculty member and a qualified examiner at the Singapore Institute of Technology where her efforts in clinical teaching have won her both the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Clinical Educator Award (Honour Roll) and the NHG Young Clinician Award.

Outside her professional role, Jaclyn is a devoted mom of two who treasures quality moments with her family, bringing the same warmth and dedication to both her loved ones and her patients! Jaclyn’s dedication to improving lives is matched only by her zest for life, bringing a touch of spice and energy to every patient she helps.
